The Bigs 2 Wii Game Review
US, July 15, 2009 – The Bigs 2 on Xbox 360 and PS3 may not have been the most faithful of baseball representations, but that was never its intention. It brought the fun with larger than life players, ridiculous activities, and mini-games that were decently fun, if not a bit repetitive. Even still, on consoles The Bigs 2 was the best baseball we’ve seen from 2K Sports for some time. It’s just too bad that the same can’t be said for the Wii version.
Disaster gets first review, Famitsu rates the game highly

It’s not typically an encouraging sign when a company hides their game from the press. Disaster: Day of Crisis has fallen down that path, but in this case, it doesn’t necessarily mean the game is terrible. Actually, based on the first review from Famitsu, Day of Crisis might be much better than the average game. The Disaster review, which can be read in the upcoming edition of Famitsu, includes a superb score of 34/40.
IGN: MegaMan 9 Review
If our industry truly goes in cycles, then it’s about time we start cashing in our 120-gig hard drives and fancy-pants “analog sticks” for some good old-fashioned 8-bit gaming, as Capcom’s Mega Man series is back and swinging for the fences in all of its low-frame, low-power glory. read more

Bomberman Blasts – Wii Review
Gameplay:
Gameplay for this game is quite simple, like all Bomberman games, and gives you the option of play with either the gamecube or WiiMote controls.
Allowing upto 8 players to play at once together online or off you know that if you have a lot of friends around and you have 4 WiiMotes and 4 Gamecube controllers your in for a blast.

Sony Needs a Hero for PlayStation3
Video game sales are hot, despite the continued lag of Sony’s PlayStation 3 console.Such is the takeaway of the latest figures from NPD Group, a market research firm that monthly tallies domestic video sales.
There is continued good news for the sector overall. Domestic sales of video games consoles, hardware, software and accessories hit $10.5 billion for the first 10 months of 2007. That puts the industry on record-breaking pace, according to NPD’s Anita Frazier. read more
New Information on WiiWare File Size, Pricing
Media outlet IGN shared new details regarding Nintendo’s upcoming download service known as WiiWare. Users will be able to access WiiWare through the Wii Shop Channel and purchase original software titles beginning in early 2008. read more
Photo Channel picks up new features this December
December is shaping up to be a big month in the world of Wii. Word has come that The Photo Channel will be receiving an update, which while minor, may be be moving the Wii towards a slight media center angle.
The first of three changes will be that Wii users’ photos will now display in the channel icon on the Wii menu, so you’ll be able to sit there watching on those great memories cross fade by set to the Wii’s signature menu music. read more
Fifa 08 Online Team Play
Electronic Arts announced the release of the Online Team Play update that will enable 10 people on 10 different PS3 anywhere in the world to play a single match of Fifa 08. NBA Live 08 will get a similar update later this month. read more
